Poonies Goodies - cor. Sikap along Boni
Dear Universe,
A food entryyyyyy. Yes! I'm trying to actually sharing my food experiences here. Still thinking of the right label, tho. Probably putting it on a travel or food label? What do you think?
But anyway, we tried this new burger house around the block and guessed what — one of the best burgers we ever had!
There menu were more of a chicken burgers, like truffles and buttermilk. I didn't get a picture of the menu for the mystery and for your curiosity, HAHAHAHAHA. More of the, "It's for you to find out thing."
What I got was a Truffle Chicken Burger, it came with fries and an iced tea. My dip for the fries was a hot sauce, and Del Monte hot sauce was really good. It got the sour-spicy kick that lingered in my tongue that added additional flavor to the fry.
Iced tea was good, too. Came with a lot of ice and the tea was well-proportionate. It wasn't sweet but not blunt as well. A typical iced tea that we all knew and it was really good because it came cold.
The burger!!!! The chicken was really tender. So soft and juicy, it literally tore to pieces when you bit the chicken. Talking about the buns. It was toasted and it didn't get stuck to your teeth, which was the best part. The cheese melted as you savour your burger. Vegetables were crispy, really looked fresh.
The staff told us that it was a home-made meal, and I really appreciated how they worked so hard to have that prepared for us ♡
The place was very cozy, so perfect for the rainy weather. Actually, we got stuck here and let the rain to pass. The ambiance, the blue and pink vibes, the shell tissue dispenser — it gave a very much girly vibes diner.
I got nice picture around, feeling a really pretty princess in a pretty castle in a pretty dress.
The staff were all sweet and accommodating, I even had a piece of cookie when we left. Ughhh, that cookie, was heaven. I was just hoping that they would, like, stay in there, for a very long time. It was really hard to find cute spots around, and I didn't want to get heart-broken again for a closed down store. :(
It wasn't spacious, but the little spaces in between would bring you together. I could hear whispers and soft laughters echoed in the four walls of the diner, well, technically, it was our voices. It wasn't grand, but would always remind you that small things were what really mattered.
Please give them a try and let's talk about your experience?
Love,
Zoey ♡
