Valentine's Day + Life Lesson
Hello Universe! Yesterday was memorable. It was my second Valentine's Day with Menki and we had a little dinner together. We also hard launch our relationship last night, too.
Hard Launch, Hello Virtual World
So for this year's Valentine's day, I'll be sharing with a little haul for the V-day, my dinner experience with Menki and a little life lessons that I was learning as I became more intentional and starting life at 30.
I. Haul
II. Things that I Received
1. Chrysanthemum bouquet
The controversial flowers. Hahahahahahaha. Menki was saying, he bought it, as the card said, but the office claimed it came from them. Hahahahahahahaha. So, I couldn't really tell from whom it came from. XD
2. Gifts from Interns
I received a lot from interns this Valentine's Day. It was, kinda sweet. I felt like my effort was being acknowledged and recognized. It felt really good. Hello Wafer used to be my favorite, like, I used to collect the foils of it, with the quotes at the back before.
The eggpie and the spinach bread were really good. It was just the crust was kind of thick and hard, but the inner part was soft and creamy. It was better than the eggpie I used to have from provinces. The spinach bread was also good. Not itchy on the gums and tasted really well.
III. Valentine's Day (Dinner Night)
Valentine's Daaaaaaay. I was so excited. This was my outfit. I had bought a dress, specifically for this event, however, I had to show up at work so this was what my outfit was. It looked decent and sexy, I guessed. Had to do an AI edit for the background as I was planning to do an AI photoshoot for my birthday next month, but it was very hard to write a prompt. It felt, like, I was dumb. Argh.
He chatted me about our reservation at 3pm. Not kinda prepared, and felt like, it was a scam, but I let things be. This was the first surprise and first grandiose expense of Menki.
Dinner at Wild Flour, Rockwell
Salad: Bleu Cheese was the name. It was kinda long, and only the first few words were retained. I tried looking for the menu online, but I guess things were changed.
I loved the cottage cheese. At first, it was kind of, gross, but as the taste lingered in my mouth. I also liked the walnuts, croutons and the candied stuff, that tasted like grapes, aside from the fresh grapes and the cherry tomatoes. ♡
Truffle Pasta. I loved pasta so much. But the pastas on the menu was kinda hard to pronounce and since I was anxious being in the Wild Flour the first time, I was so conscious. But it tasted good.
Strawberry Lemon Soda. It was sweet with sour-ry kick. The lemon blended well with strawberry and as it got colder with the ice, it got any better.
Hello Menki! For the mystery. I would like to take photos with him for the whole virtual world to see, but he wanted to keep it lowkey before hard-launching it a while at home. Hahahahahahahaha.
